Après Lux, c’est Cecilia qui m’a le plus marqué dans The Virgin Suicides. Je me suis inspiré de son personnage pour cette séance.
Tout comme elle, quand j’étais petite, on pouvait souvent me voir perchée dans l’arbre au milieu de notre jardin à Marseille.
A la seule différence que mon arbre n’était pas un orme comme Cecilia, mais un cerisier ( quelle surprise ! ).
Cela fait 19 ans maintenant que j’ai déménagé pour revenir à Paris, et j’espère qu’il n’a pas été coupé.

After Lux, it’s Cecilia who was the most intriguing character for me in The Virgin Suicides. She inspired me for this photoshoot.
Just like her, when I was a little girl, you could often see me climbing in the tree in the middle of our garden in Marseille.
The only difference is that my tree was not an Elm like Cecilia, but a cherry tree ( how surprising is that ?! ).
It’s been 19 years now since I moved back to Paris, and I hope my tree hasn’t been cut.

Je regarde pour une énième fois The virgin suicides et me désespère de trouver le titre de la chanson qu’on entend lorsque Trip Fontaine est triste et se fait donner des conseils amoureux par son père et son conjoint. C’est une chanson lente et je sui sûre de la connaitre mais je ne trouve pas le titre. Bref, si jamais tu aurais le titre tu mettrais fin à ma quête désespérée sur Google (recherches du type « chanson quand trip est triste virgin suicides »), vu que tu semble connaître tout ce qui touche à ce film je me demandais si par un heureux hasard tu savais le titre de cette fameuse chanson ?
