Quand ma petite sœur a pris en photo cette tenue il y a quelques jours, elle m’a fait remarquer que je ressemblais à une dame Écossaise … ce qui est plutôt juste avec cette écharpe et ce grand manteau. Nous avons croisé deux autres dames sur la route d’ailleurs, pas particulièrement écossaises mais tout à fait assorties l’une à l’autre !

When my sister took these outfit pictures the other day, she told me that I was kind of looking like a stylish Scottish lady … wich is quite true with this scarf and  this coat ! We met two other ladies on our way, not really scottish, but twins maybe !

Parfum Dahlia Noir Givenchy – Robe vintage emprunté à Louise – chaussures Givenchy (spring 2009)

Parmi les livres que j’ai pu lire durant mon adolescence, « Le parfum de la dame en noir » ( suite du Mystère de la chambre Jaune, de Gaston Leroux ) est l’un de ceux qui m’ont le plus marqué. J’avais particulièrement aimé l’intrigue qui régnait autours des personnages de cette histoire. Lorsque la maison Givenchy m’a proposé d’interpréter à ma manière son parfum Dahlia Noir, j’ai tout de suite pensé à ce livre, mais c’est avant tout son titre qui m’a inspiré. Le dahlia noir, qui est une fleur sans odeur, peut laisser libre cours à l’imagination ! Créé sous la direction artistique de Riccardo Tisci, les notes poudrées, boisées et suaves de ce parfum me donnait l’image d’une femme mystérieuse, sensuelle et fascinante. Celle d’une héroïne … qui aurait bien sa place dans un roman !

Among the books I read when I was a teenager, « The perfume of the lady in black » ( following the mystery of the yellow room, by Gaston Leroux ) is one of those I loved the most. I found particulary interesting the characters of this story.

When Givenchy offered me to interpret my own vision of their perfume Dahlia Noir, I immediatly thought of this book, but most of all, it’s the title that inspired me. The black dahlia, which is a flower without any smell, can give free rein to the imagination! Created under the artistic direction of Riccardo Tisci, the powdery, woody and sweet notes of this fragance gave me the image of a mysterious yet sensual and fascinating woman. A woman who could be the heroin of a novel !
