Ça y est, c’est la fin.
Le dernier endroit à visiter était L.A, cela signifie donc que le voyage est terminé.
C’est triste que ce soit fini, mais je dois dire que ma maison m’a aussi manqué.
C’était un rêve vraiment, un voyage incroyable que je n’oublierai jamais.
Je ne sais pas si je referai un road trip aux états unis une nouvelle fois, mais je me sens déjà bien chanceuse d’avoir pu le réaliser au moins une fois !
Que retenir de ce voyage ?
La douce chaleur de la Californie, le sable tout doux de la plage de santa Monica, le coucher de soleil sur le grand Canyon, le vent dans mes cheveux sur la route à travers le désert, la musique rock à la radio … et tellement d’autres choses !
En un mot, ça a été fabuleux !

So, this is the end.
The last place to visit was L.A, so it means the trip is over now.
too bad this is the end, but I have to say I missed my home too !
It’s been a dream really, a marvelous trip I will never forget.
I don’t know if I will ever be on a road trip through the US again, but I’m quite happy I was lucky enough to make it at least once in my life!
What will I remember of this journey ?
The sweat heat of California, the soft sand of Santa Monica beach, the sunset in the Grand canyon, the wind blowing in my hair while driving threw the desert, rock’n’roll music on the radio … and so much more !
In one word, it was amazing !

My friend and I drove across the U.S. this summer as well. We took the north route, though. It was an amazing experience and such a contrast to my every day life. I understand completely when you say you’ll never forget it.

Au mois de juillet je suis partie 3 semaines en Californie, résultat retour = coup de blues..
Revoir des photos de Huntington beach, Santa Monica,… que du bonheur !!!
Par contre, je n’ai pas trouvé la plage de Santa Monica à se damner, pour tout te dire, Venice Beach et sa débauche et ses couleurs m’ont fait rêver.
Huntington restera quand même un de mes meilleurs souvenirs (j’ai eu la chance d’assister au Hurley Us open pro surfing) indissociable de Ruby’s !!

Beautiful beach shots of SM…. I grew up going to station 22 right next to the one that was in your pic…. I am glad you got to see that part of L.A. Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades and of course, Malibu/Topanga Canyon are my favourite parts of L.A. I hope you got to visit the 3rd St. Promenade or the Mall there when you were visiting Santa Monica… Such nice places, too… Seems like you had such a wonderful trip and a great scrapbook of photos to hang out to! You have seen a lot more of America than I have!!! Glad you enjoyed it! Welcome back to France, a very beautiful country, as well… I missed it when I was gone for 6 weeks in California this summer, too!
