Le titre n’a rien à voir avec l’article, je trouvais juste que la chanson allait bien avec le look !
Un petit look donc, avec mon plus bel achat de ce début d’année: une jupe Vivetta que je lorgnais depuis  un bon bout de temps.
Avec ce visage et ces courbes colorées, elle me fait beaucoup penser à John Luke Eastman, et un peu à Verner Panton, deux artiste psychédéliques que j’adore. !

A look today with a skirt from Vivetta I’ve been lurking on for ages and is  finally mine.
With this face on front and colorful shapes, it reminds me a lot of John Luke Eastman and Verner Panton, two psychedelic artists that I adore !

Ah là là cette maison à la porte rose … du Palm Springs dans toute sa splendeur !
J’avais repéré en avance quelques maisons iconiques à aller voir.
Toutes se trouvent dans le même quartier calme est paisible, bordé de cactus et de palmiers gigantesques.
Le berceau de Palm Springs !
Mais c’est surtout cette maison que j’avais vraiment hâte de voir. La photo de sa façade rénovée et de sa porte fraîchement peinte en rose a déjà fait plusieurs fois le tour du monde.
Si vous passez à Palm Springs, prenez le temps de vous arrêter au 1100 Sierra Way. C’est l’adresse de cette porte magique. Baladez vous également dans les rues alentours, d’autres merveilles méritent d’être découvertes!

Oooh dear, this house with a pink door … Palms Springs at its best !
Before I got there, I spotted a few iconic houses in the city. All of them are located in the same quiet and peaceful neighborhood with the highest cactus, succulents and palm trees you will ever see. The streets where palms Springs actually began !
But it was this house in particular that I couldn’t wait to see. The photo of its renovated facade and freshly painted pink door made it several times around the globe already.
If you go to Palm Springs, take the time to stop at 1100 Sierra Way. It’s the address of this magical pink door. And please wander around the surrounding streets, many other treasures are worth being discovered!
If you are curious just like me and wonder what’s inside when you cross that pink door … this should satisfy your appetite.

A Palm Springs, j’ai séjourné au Saguaro Hotel, très connu pour ses tons colorés !
C’est un ancien motel typiquement américain ( piscine centrale entourée des chambres et parking tout autour ) qui a été récemment rénové, et je dois dire que le résultat est une vraie réussite.
Comme la chaleur était vraiment trop étouffante l’après-midi, je me levais assez tôt le matin pour profiter des transats et de la piscine.
Le personnel est vraiment gentil et attentionné, et en plus de la déco qui met de bonne humeur, la cuisine était une très bonne surprise. Je me suis régalée ( pour ne pas dire empiffrée )  de leur délicieux ceviche et guacamole entre deux brasses.
Je garde un très bon souvenir de ce séjour; j’aurais d’ailleurs encore quelques petites photos de l’hôtel à partager avec vous!

While in Palm Springs, I stayed at the Saguaro Hotel, which is famous for its colorful shades !
It’s an old typical american motel ( swimming pool in the middle surronded by the rooms and parkings all around ) which was recently renovated, and I must say the result is a real success !
As the heat was really too much in the afternoon, I used to get up early in the morning so I could enjoy the sun and relax by the pool.
The staff is really friendly, and in addition to the decoration that really puts in a great mood, the food was a very good surprise. I ate as much as I could their delicious ceviche and guacamole.
So, I keep some really great memories from this stay at the Saguaro, and I’ll have a few more photos to share with you soon !
