Le musée Ghibli est un must lorsque l’on visite Tokyo.
Que l’on soit fan ou pas des animations d’Hayao Miyazaki, l’endroit vaut vraiment le déplacement !
Seul point négatif ( et qui a été assez rédhibitoire pour moi qui adore prendre des photos ), les photos à l’intérieur ne sont pas permises.
Après ma visite, je me suis donc attardée dehors, où les petits détails amusants sont nombreux ( Totoro dans une vitrine, le balai de Kiki la petite sorcière posé dans un coin, des boules de suie derrière une fenêtre, un robinet Jiji, … ).
L’architecture semblait en grande partie inspirée du film Le Château Dans le Ciel, et entouré de verdure, c’était le cadre parfait pour savourer un samedi après midi d’octobre au soleil.
A ne pas manquer également: le restaurant du musée: The Straw Hat Café.
Les gâteaux décorés de drapeaux des différents personnages Ghibli et les cafés crème décorés de jolis motifs font vraiment leur effet !
Et si vous avez soif, essayez La bière « Kaze no Tani », et la limonade « Ramune » qui dévoile deux billes une fois ouverte !

The Ghibli Museum is a must when visiting Tokyo.
Whether you are a fan or not of Hayao Miyazaki’s work, the place is really worth it!
The only problem there (which was quite an issue for me, who love taking photos so much !) was that the photos inside are not permitted.
So after my visit, I lingered outside, where many fun little details can be found (Totoro in a window, Kiki’s broomstick placed in a corner, soot sprites behind a window, Jiji tap.. .).
The architecture seemed mostly inspired by the film « The Castle in the Sky », and surrounded by all this greenery, it was the perfect place to enjoy a Saturday afternoon in the sun.
Also a few things not to miss: the museum’s restaurant « Straw Hat Café ».
The cakes are decorated with Ghibli characters flags, and the cappuccinos have the most lovely patterns on top!
Thirsty ? Try the « Kaze no Tani » beer, and Ramune limonade which reveals a suprise once opened!
