Je crois que ça fait maintenant 4 ans que je vous fait ces « petits » moodboards spécial Halloween. Cette année n’allait donc pas y échapper !
C’est toujours un vrai régal pour moi d’assembler ces visuels tous ensembles et recréer cette ambiance sombre mais tellement fascinante!

I think it’s been 4 years now since my first Halloween moodboard, and of course this year makes no exceptions !
It’s always a treat for me to post these photos altogether. I collect them every day, until the next Halloween comes ! I just love the dark yet fascinating atmosphere that comes out of them.

Halloween is Coming !
Comme chaque année, je vous ai concocté un article d’inspiration.
Alors attention, car c’est vraiment un très gros post, et il y a beaucoup de photos.
J’ai un dossier spécial sur mon ordi, où je collecte ce qui me plaît tout au long de l’année.
Autant vous dire que j’attends toujours ce moment avec beaucoup d’impatience!
J’adore trouver sur le net des captures d’écran des films de la Hammer, des gifs tirés des films de Tim Burton, la famille Addams bien sûr, les bons vieux classiques avec Dracula et Frankenstein et partager tout ça ici avec vous.
Rajoutons à cela quelques pin-ups habillées en sorcières, des chats noirs, des manoirs hantés et la voix de Vincent Price, et nous avons un Halloween parfait !

Halloween is Coming!
Like every year, I have prepared a special post.
But I’m warning you, this is a very big ( spooky ) post, with a lot of pictures.
I have a special folder on my computer, where I collect all the inspiring things that I like throughout the year.
So let me tell you that I’m always waiting impatiently for this moment!
I love finding screenshots of Hammer films, gifs from Tim Burton movies, the Addams Family of course, the good old classics with Dracula and Frankenstein and share all that here with you !
Just add a few pin-ups dressed as witches, black cats, creepy haunted mansions and the voice of Vincent Price, and you have the perfect Halloween!

La nuit d’Halloween ( qui remonte à un un certain temps maintenant ! ), j’étais donc à Mexico City, prête pour deux jours de fêtes incessantes pour Dias de los Muertos: (1er et 2 Novembre ).
Les Mexicains ne célèbrent pas Halloween, mais je n’ai pas résisté à l’envie de me dessiner une tête de mort sur le visage, et de me costumer en terrifiante Frida Kahlo ce soir de 31 !
J’avais visité le marché « Merced » la veille, et les différents stands regorgeaient de Pinatas, de costumes de monstres, de têtes de mort en sucre, et de décorations en tout genre. Impossible donc de tenir un jour de plus !
Ce marché était impressionnant par la profusion d’objets disposés un peu partout ( même au plafond ! ), et par les couleurs extrêmement vives.
Le marché aux fleurs, situé en bordure de ce même marché, vaut également le détour !

♫ ♪ The Specials – Ghost Town

On Halloween night (which dates back to some time now!), I was in Mexico City, ready for 2 days of endless parties for Dias de los Muertos ( 1 and 2 of November )
Mexicans do not celebrate Halloween on the 31, but I couldn’t resist to draw a skull makeup on my face and dress up as a scary Frida Kahlo on that night!
I visited the « Merced » market just the day before, and after seeing all those stalls overflowing with Pinatas, monsters costumes, chocolate and sugar skulls … well, I couldn’t wait one more day !
This market was really impressive, especially because of the profusion of objects arranged everywhere (even on the ceilings !), and the extremely bright colors.
The Flower Market, located at the edge of this same market, was also a worthy thing to see !
