Les neuf mois d’Iris me font surtout réaliser une chose: on s’approche de plus en plus de son premier anniversaire !

Ce qui me frappe aussi, c’est que neuf mois, c’est le temps d’une grossesse. Celle-ci m’avait semblée durer une éternité, alors que maintenant les jours s’enchaînent si vite.

Iris commence de plus en plus à ressembler à une petite fille, sans doute à cause de son abondante chevelure, et elle ne semble s’intéresser qu’a une seule chose en ce moment: se tenir debout et attraper tout objet se trouvant à sa portée.

Parfois je la regarde, et je me dis que c’est vraiment flippant de la voir évoluer comme ça. On est bien loin du nourrisson, tout petit, et qui bouge  à peine!

Prochaine étape, venir fouiller dans la trousse à maquillage de maman? Ah non, ça c’est déjà fait !

Iris turning nine months old makes me realize something: her first birthday isn’t very far now !

Nine months, it’s also the time for having a baby, and I can’t help thinking that it’s strange. It’s felt like the never ending pregnancy when I was expecting, and now days are just flying away.

Iris starts to look more like a little girl than a baby, probably because of the massive amount of hairs on the top of her head, and she seems to be interested in only one thing right now: standing up and grabbing anything she’s able to reach.

Sometime I look at her, and I start thinking how scary it is to see her grow like that. We’re so far away for the tiny newborn who was hardly moving in its crib !

Next step, stealing makeup for mommy’s vanity case ? Ooops, done already !
