Iris a 6 mois aujourd’hui. C’est fou comme le temps passe vite !
Lorsque j’étais enceinte, j’avais hâte que les mois s’enchaînent pour arriver à la date de l’accouchement, et à présent je ne rêve que d’une chose: que les jours passent au ralenti pour que je puisse profiter un max de ma petite qui pousse à la vitesse de la lumière.

Iris est un bébé facile, pour cela j’ai beaucoup de chance !
Elle commence tout juste à faire ses nuits, même si le fait qu’elle se réveille la nuit ne m’a jamais dérangé ( un des grands avantages de l’allaitement maternel, pas besoin de se lever du lit ! ).
La première dent vient d’apparaître, et mademoiselle qui mange à présent bouillies et compotes montre un intérêt presque inquiétant pour le sucré.

Cela me fait plaisir de voir ma fille grandir, mais ça me rend un peu triste en même temps. Ma première peine de cœur a été de ranger dans un carton ses premiers vêtements taille 1 mois. Heureusement je sais que les plus belles choses restent à venir.
La voir grandir et évoluer chaque jour est une grande aventure qui vient tout juste de commencer !

Iris is 6 months today. How time flies !
When I was pregnant, I just couldn’t wait for the due date to arrive, and now the only thing I dream about is to have a remote control so I could enjoy my sweet little bundle of joy each day even longer.

Iris is an easy baby, for that and all the rest I am so incredibly lucky !
She just started sleeping through the night, even though the fact that she woke up at night never bothered me ( one of the big advantages of breastfeeding, no need to get out of bed ! ).
The first tooth just appeared, and now that she started eating purees and compotes, she shows a disturbing interest for anything sweet.

I am extremely happy that my daughter is growing up, but it makes me a little bit sad at the same time. It was so heart breaking to put her 1 month clothes away in a box! But I know the best things are yet to come.
To see her grow and evolve every day is a big adventure that has only just begun !

J’aimais déjà beaucoup le tissu Liberty, mais mon intérêt s’est amplifié depuis que j’ai Iris… il y a beaucoup de choix pour les vêtements de bébé, et ces imprimés sont tellement mignons sur eux !
Cet ensemble, je l’ai acheté chez Jacadi ( même collection que la tenue rouge ). Mais cette fois, j’ai craqué  sur ce très beau tissu Liberty bleu.
Sauf que c’était un maillot de bain, et que la plus petite taille était en 18 mois !
Je l’avoue, je n’ai pas résisté. Un nÅ“ud aux bretelles pour les raccourcir, et le haut devient une très jolie robe. La culotte fait quand à elle office de très efficace » cache couche « .
Ah la la, qu’est ce qu’on ne doit pas faire par amour du Liberty !

I already loved Liberty fabrics a lot, but now I like it even more since Iris is here. There is so much choice for babies clothes, and those prints look so cute on them !
I bought this set at Jacadi ( same collection as her red outfit ). But this time, I had a huge crush on that blue Liberty.
Problem is it was as swimsuit, and the smaller size was a 18 months !
I couldn’t resist anyway. I shortened the straps, and the top became the loveliest dress ever. As for the bottom, it worked as a very effective « diaper cover ».
All this, for the love of Liberty !

Il y a quelques jours, ma vie à changé.
J’ai fêté mes trentes ans en tant que nouvelle maman, et je n’aurais pu imaginer plus belle chose !
Iris est née le 30 Mai, et depuis son arrivée, je vis chaque seconde avec amour, tendresse et émerveillement. Les premiers moments avec un nouveau né sont magiques et si précieux!
Je n’en ai pas l’habitude, mais j’ai choisi de publier quelques photos de famille mêlées à des photos Instagram pour vous la présenter.
Vos vÅ“ux ont été nombreux, de l’annonce de ma grossesse à la naissance d’Iris, et je tiens à vous en remercier !
Merci infiniment du fond du cÅ“ur pour tous vos mots doux, qui m’ont énormément touchés. Cette entrée dans une nouvelle vie n’en a été que plus belle !

A few days ago, my life changed.
I celebrated my 30 years birthday as a new mom, and it’s the most beautiful thing I could ever imagine !
Iris was born the 30th of May, and since she arrived, every second is filled with love, wonder and tenderness. The first moments with a newborn are magical and so precious !
It’s not in my habit, but I thought I would introduce her by sharing a few family photos, along with some shots from Instagram.
I received so many wishes from all of you since the announcement of my pregnancy and Iris birth, and I wanted to say how thankful I am !
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all your sweet words, I can’t say how much they touched me, and they made the beginning of this new life even more beautiful !
