Jusqu’à récemment, je n’aimais pas beaucoup l’automne. C’était synonyme pour moi de fin des vacances d’été, et de l’hiver qui approche ( j’ai de plus en plus de mal à supporter le froid ! ).

Mais j’ai appris à apprécier cette saison à sa juste valeur.

Pour avoir voyagé dans quelques pays exotiques où la végétation est à peu près la même toute l’année, je me rends compte que bénéficier d’une nature qui change et d’une si belle palette de couleurs est plutôt une chance!

Il faut dire que nous avons eu un automne particulièrement radieux cette année.

Voici quelques photos d’un après-midi très doux passé en famille au jardin des Tuileries. C’était un peu tard dans la saison, mais au moins nous avons pu profiter du gigantesque tapis de feuilles !

Until recently, I didn’t like autumn so much. It was a sign for me that summer holidays were over, and that winter would be here way too soon ( It gets more and more difficult for me to bear the cold ! ).

But I have learned to appreciate this season like it should.

After visiting a few countries where nature is pretty much the same all year, I realize it’s rather a chance to have some changes and all these beautiful colors !

But the fact that we had an incredibly beautiful weather this season helped a lot in my change of mind…

Here are some photos from an afternoon spent at the jardin des Tuileries. Trees were almost bare already, but the good thing is that we could enjoy this massive carpet of leaves !
