Avant de véritablement rentrer dans l’hiver et de laisser de côté les couleurs vives pendant un moment ( ainsi que ce haut et ce short à pompons de chez Asos ! ), je voulais partager avec vous ces dernières photos.Â
J’avais également acheté cette petite pochette citron de la collection Charlotte Olympia » Down Mexico Way »  ( vous connaissez désormais mon intérêt pour les citrons ! ).
Elle aussi se fond tellement bien dans le thème du Dia de Los Muertos !

Before getting into winter season for good, and put aside the bright colors for a moment ( as well as these pompom top and shorts from Asos ) and wanted to share with you these last summery photos.
I purchased this lemon clutch from Charlotte Olympia’s Down Mexico Way » collection as well ( which confirms my love for lemons ! ).
It also fits perfectly into the Dia de los Muertos theme, so here we go !

La nostalgie de jouer à la poupée peut-être, j’ai toujours été fascinée par les landaus.
Ma mère nous a baladé mon frère et mes soeurs chacun à notre tour dans un modèle Bonnichon, puis en grandissant, j’ai sans doute été sensibilisée par des scènes dans Hook et Rosemary’s baby.
Et puis il y a eu cet éditorial qui m’a très fortement marqué dans Vogue Paris.
Intitulé « No Smoking », où Lily Donaldson avec son ventre rond, jouait le rôle d’une future maman avant l’heure avec toute la panoplie pour bébé, et bien sûr … un landau!
C’était en 2009, j’avais trouvé ça tellement original et amusant !
Du coup je me suis dit pourquoi ne pas sortir ma Inglesina Classica juste le temps de faire quelques photos ?
Aujourd’hui c’est clair, je me retrouve un peu dans le même cas loufoque que Lily dans Vogue !

The nostalgia of playing with dolls maybe, I have always been fascinated by old school looking prams.
My mother owned a Bonnichon one, which she used for my brother and sisters. Then growing up, I guess viewing scenes in movies such as Hook and Rosemary’s baby probably  caught my interest.
And then there was this editorial in Vogue Paris entitled « No Smoking » : a round belly Lily Donaldson was playing the role of a future mother, with all the ( not born yet ) baby’s equipment and of course … a pram !
It was in 2009, and I remember thinking how fun and original it was when it was released !
So I recently thought why not taking my Inglesina Classica out just the time to take a few pictures ?
Today something is sure, I find myself in the kind of same crazy situation as Lily in Vogue !

Ah là là cette maison à la porte rose … du Palm Springs dans toute sa splendeur !
J’avais repéré en avance quelques maisons iconiques à aller voir.
Toutes se trouvent dans le même quartier calme est paisible, bordé de cactus et de palmiers gigantesques.
Le berceau de Palm Springs !
Mais c’est surtout cette maison que j’avais vraiment hâte de voir. La photo de sa façade rénovée et de sa porte fraîchement peinte en rose a déjà fait plusieurs fois le tour du monde.
Si vous passez à Palm Springs, prenez le temps de vous arrêter au 1100 Sierra Way. C’est l’adresse de cette porte magique. Baladez vous également dans les rues alentours, d’autres merveilles méritent d’être découvertes!
Et pour les curieux qui souhaitent jeter un coup d »Å“il à l’intérieur… entrez par ici !

Oooh dear, this house with a pink door … Palms Springs at its best !
Before I got there, I spotted a few iconic houses in the city. All of them are located in the same quiet and peaceful neighborhood with the highest cactus, succulents and palm trees you will ever see. The streets where palms Springs actually began !
But it was this house in particular that I couldn’t wait to see. The photo of its renovated facade and freshly painted pink door made it several times around the globe already.
If you go to Palm Springs, take the time to stop at 1100 Sierra Way. It’s the address of this magical pink door. And please wander around the surrounding streets, many other treasures are worth being discovered!
If you are curious just like me and wonder what’s inside when you cross that pink door … this should satisfy your appetite.
