When I see tulips, I immedialtly think about Holland. Don’t you ?
Well, that’s such a cliché, I know !
But they still remind me the magnificent  Keukenhof garden near Amsterdam I’ve been visiting a few years ago …
So, Tulips were the thought of the day ! And for sure they look good in my garden on this sunny sunday !

Quand je vois des tulipes, je pense immediatement à la Hollande, pas vous ?
Je sais bien, c’est un énorme cliché !
Mais elles me rappellent toujours le merveilleux jardin Keukenhof près d’Amsterdam que j’ai visité il y a quelques années …
Les tulipes étaient donc la pensée du jour ! Et une chose est sûre, elles sont de toute beauté dans mon jardin par un dimanche ensoleillé !

I was so surprised to see tulips down here in little nz the other day. I love how they are so emotional and respond to the light so quickly, opening and shutting.

I absolutely adore tulips! And these are SO gorgeous! My grandfather used to have a huge painting picture in his apartment in Rio, of the amazing tulips in the Keukenhof garden, so i too associate tulips with Holland :) Gorgeous photos, Alix!

Ah les tulipes! Mes fleurs préférées, moi elle me rappellent le jardin de mes aprents, il y avait tout une platebande de tulipe le long de l’allée, des bicolores, j’adorais les voir fleurir.

I love your outfit! The dress is adorable and the shoes are gorgeous! I live in Holland, but even though I live here, I don’t see a lot of tulips. Of course there are exceptionals with the tulip fields that are so large and coloured that you can only see blocks of red/jellow/white next to the road when you’re driving.

Hey! I have been a watcher for a long time now x3 mostly i lurk though, but with this post I HAD to comment cause I am from Holland! Did you know that tullips originally are from Turkey? The Dutch imported them in the 16th century.. altough I’m not sure if it was the 16th or the 15th century. Anyhow I just wanted to say that your blog is a big inspiration for me! Yeah, I live in Holland, but it’s I got the same cliché thouhgt haha. And there is so much tulip merchendise in the Netherlands!
They don’t even come originally from the Netherlands but from Turkey!

simplement pour te dire que je trouve ton blog magnifique. je le consulte depuis quelque temps et franchement je dois te dire qu’il inspire la beauté et le bonheur. tu apportes une touche fraîche et printanière à toutes les saisons, ton blog porte bien son nom. haha It’s a little cliché but I don’t care. I live in holland and there are not a lot of tullips.. But they are beautiful!!
And.. clichés.. every country has at least one! :D And being known for the tullips is better than being known for the prostitutes and the drugs xD

These are so beautiful! Tulips actually make me think of my mom because they are her favorite flower. In the spring in NYC, they line Park Avenue in huge clusters…so gorgeous. Our own mini Holland:)
