this is so beautiful, i never cease to be amazed at how you make the commonplace seem so beautiful! i love the bright colours of the flowers juxtaposed with the conventional greys of the newspapers they’re wrapped in.
lovely! x

I like the greyish color of your pics. Seems you climbed into a time maschine and you´ve been catapulted back to the seventies! :) The pictures of your travels are amazing.
i recently published some pics of my MALLORCA trip into my blog (inspired by you), take a look :)
Oh my, what beautiful photos – i also loved the fish pics too!
Reminds me of HK when i’m visiting family. I absolutely adore the kitty pic above though.
Love your style, the colour/tone of your images girl, very Wong Kar Wai if he were to capture his films on photography! Would love to see your take on Wong Tai Sin temple or the Big Buddha on Lantau Island.
I was in Hongkong for a few days last year but somehow I seemed to miss this market. Such nice pictures, they make me want to travel to this wonderful city again. You are a very good photographer, I like the sharp/not sharp effects… And I think I have to take a look to some of my holidays photos now.
Hey Alix, I’m from Hong Kong, studying in San Francisco right now. Are you enjoying your visit in Hong Kong??? The flower market is amazing, the flowers are so affordable :) Lovely photos!
I love the Flower Market in Hong Kong! Your photos are gorgeous, they really capture the market. I hope you had the chance to visit the bird market as well, such an incredible place!

Nice garden indeed! I love all the newspaper wrapping, it makes the flowers stand out so much more than shiny cellophane or tissue paper.
